Privately held FEops, headquartered in Gent, Belgium, has developed a proprietary system to improve transcatheter valve procedures based on personalized computer simulations. Its first product, TAVIguideTM, is currently the only CE-marked technology on the market that predicts how a TAVI implant will interact with the patient-specific aortic anatomy and thus provide clinically meaningful insights in the personalized device size selection and position. FEops’ pipeline extends to dedicated planning tools with unique potential in driving forward the development, testing and market adoption of new and improved device-based solutions in the structural heart space.

AA Tower is welcoming sister act Impulse and Clever.be, both spinoffs of Profacts. The former specialized in neuroscientific research, the latter experts in Artificial Intelligence. Both companies were founded in 2016 but are already making their mark internationally. Founders and CEO’s Jelle Demanet and Maarten Verschuere are delighted to make their move to the AA Tower, “We believe this location is the perfect place to meet new partners to continue our exponential growth.”
VIB is a life sciences research institute, based in Flanders, Belgium performing basic research with a strong focus on translating scientific results into pharmaceutical, agricultural and industrial applications. The International Plant Biotechnology Outreach division (IPBO) of the VIB now hosted in the AA tower promotes access for developing countries to scientific and technological innovations as ways of enhancing food security and promoting a sustainable intensification of agriculture. The main actions of IPBO are building capacity, communicating broadly scientific knowledge and fostering partnerships between Flanders and Africa.
ONTOFORCE develops groundbreaking visual analytics, semantic search and linked data technologies. The company has also offices in Cambridge (MA, US).
