The VIB Bio-incubator at Campus Ardoyen has a floor space of 7,500 m² in total. The Bio-Incubator offers state-of -the-art lab infrastructure to 10 to 15 biotech companies
The companies have access to one or more (linked) individual units of each 250 m². There are 24 such units. The companies at the Bio-incubator have access to a common persons and goods reception area, meeting rooms, canteens, a car and bicycle parking and an outside waste and gas storage. Each individual unit consists of 3 furnished and ventilated labs (adapted to the execution of activities up to biosafety level 2), 2 office rooms and 4 support rooms including 1 cold room.
