Two pavilions have recently been erected in the new Campus Zone on Eiland Zwijnaarde. These were designed by Luna, Kobe, Ruben and Yanis of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. The assignment was to work in a circular way, so the pavilions consist of used greenhouses.

On September 15, 2022, the BASF Innovation Center Gent celebrated its 40th anniversary. At the employee celebration event they welcomed a special guest, namely Professor Marc Van Montagu. Prof. Van Montagu is one of the founding fathers of the company.

Both Tech Lane campuses will be the location of the second European state-of-the-art facilities for the production of CAR-T therapy.
