Shuttle bus

ATTENTION!

The Max Mobiel shuttle service between Ghent Sint-Pieters Station and our campus has been operational for 4 weeks.
The use of the shuttle service has increased steadily by different commuters over this period. This being said, the current usage does not warrant the deployment of 4 buses, both operationally and financially.
In consultation with Max Mobiel, VZW Ardoyen has decided to implement a holiday schedule, starting from Monday 15 June until at least 31 July.
In concrete terms, this means that only buses 1 and 3 will be operational (= one trip per 15 minutes).
As from Wednesday July 1, 2020 the capacity of each bus can be fully utilized.
The driving schedule of August will depend on the evaluation we will do mid-July.
From September 1, the shuttle service will be operational in full force again.

Max Mobiel guarantees:
• correctly filled buses according to the strictest interpretation of the current measures;
• trusted, very well-informed drivers who do everything in their power to make a ride as smooth and safe as possible;
• thoroughly disinfected buses after every journey.

Identification by means of QR also remains important these days.

The shuttle bus runs during rush hours (7:30 – 9:30 a.m. and 4:20 – 6:30 p.m.) between the Tech Lane Park site and the Ghent Sint-Pieters railway station, every ten minutes. All practical information about this shuttle can be found here. The shuttle service is organized by Max Mobiel.

Shuttle registration

Employees of a member company of VZW Ardoyen can use the shuttle bus. To make a correct calculation of the costs, it is necessary to register each user. Each user is supposed to register with a personal QR-code when entering the bus. How to create a personal QR-code? Click the following link: Shuttle Registration.

When registering, you will receive an e-mail with your personal QR code, please keep this e-mail in case you will need it later. In case you’ve lost your QR code, please send an e-mail to maxmobiel@stad.gent to get a new QR code.
