Ghent University TechTransfer organizes together with the Corporate Venturing Network an event on science and industry collaboration.

The theme of this meeting is science and industry collaboration. Corporates are reducing their investments in fundamental research, and therefore access to fundamental research has become even more important as it is fuel for the innovation funnels and therefore the future of companies.

We will start with a presentation of the Tech Lane Ghent Science Park and learning about how science, start-ups, corporates and investors are working together there.

They will not only share their current business model, but they will also lay-out their thoughts about how this model will change in the near future.

After a network lunch, we will break-out into three parallel discussion sessions, each addressing a specific challenge.

Finally, there will be a conducted tour of Tech Lane Ghent Science Park in small groups and you will be able to see several of the faculties. we will close the meeting with network drinks around 16:30.
